Testimonials from Actors

What our actors and actresses are saying about The Kim Terry Studio.

In short, acting is still something I love and think about often, but over the past year since AMTC,  a lot has changed, and as it turns out, singing and songwriting has opened many more doors for me, and seems to be more of my strong-suit.

I'm not giving up on acting! I've actually done a small part in a movie called "A Coming Day," and am still in the extra-long casting process of "Tribe Of Eden" which you helped me to audition for last lesson. :)

However, I'm not focused on acting currently, because we're trying to go at singing and songwriting head-on!

On that note, I am so blessed, looking back at where I was a year ago! Nervously pacing the back hall behind the stage of AMTC, getting ready for songwriter's showcase. Little did I know a year later, I'd be playing for music producers, award-winning songwriter's, and playing in famous Nashville venues like the Bluebird cafe and the Commodore grille!

August to October was a very special time for me because I spent it working in a recording studio on my first ever studio project! It was a blast to have studio musicians play MY songs and have the end product sound like I've always imagined in my head! The producers and studio musicians are each extremely talented at their jobs producing quality music.

That being said, I have some news!!!!!

After much work and prayers, my music is officially produced and for sale on ITUNES!!!!!!

I would not have believed you, had you told me a year ago that I would be on iTunes! It's a dream come true.

I just wanted to fill you in on all this so you'd know what I've been up to! Much Love.

Kim, you gave me the CORRECT fundamentals and necessary elements to make me into the actor that I am today. It took me forever to find a teacher that I could trust with my instrument after leaving you. Your techniques are better than most of the teachers out here. I have been to A LOT! Trust me.

I have to credit you with introducing me to the acting method I love the most, and that is the "No B.S. Method". Telling me what I need to hear and not what I want to hear.

Thank you and God bless.

I have learned so much from Kim Terry in the past two years. She has not only helped me improve my acting skills, but has also taught me to respect myself. I have come a long way since I first got into acting and I have Kim Terry to thank for that.

I've been taking Film and TV classes from The Kim Terry Studio for over a year now. Kim is an awesome teacher who has been an incredible role model for me.

I have had a lot of great feedback from people in the movie industry and recently been chosen for an independent film on my first audition. I know the skills that I have learned through Kim's classes and the experience in the past Showcases allowed me to prepare in getting this role.

Thank you so much Kim!

I was fortunate to participate in two of the showcases at the Kim Terry Studio. Because of the training that I received, my abilities and skills in acting have improved. Since the showcase I had the opportunity to be in a movie and commercial.

I really do appreciate the dedication that Kim has for helping future actors with getting their careers headed in a positive direction.

I have performed in several of the Kim Terry Performance Showcases and each time Kim helped me develop new skills, gain confidence in myself, and she encouraged me to follow my dream. Even though I had an LA agent and a Houston agent, Kim's showcases introduced me to new casting contacts in New York and LA.

Kim is a caring, dedicated and talented person. Kim, I want to thank you for your support and encouragement.
