To seriously prepare for your acting career, it is strongly recommended that you continuously improve your skills through activities like the Kim Terry Studio's ongoing acting classes, privates and Boot Camps. The Kim Terry Studio offers ongoing classes so that you are prepared to give the best possible auditions at all times.
Group Classes
The Kim Terry Studio believes that an actor needs to consistently and continually train. Time and again, we have seen actors that take their craft seriously and are prepared when a good role comes along.
Students have a safe space to take risks, to create and to invent beyond what they have ever done. One of the benefits of taking classes is the opportunity to work with many different actors of varying talent, experience and expertise. Another benefit is the ability to grasp the deeper understanding and appreciation of developing a character without being in the hot seat.
The classes are usually organized by ages; however, at times we will make exceptions as some of our younger actors are established and working professionals in the industry. Students participate in challenging sessions designed to advance each actor to the next level. We accomplish this through teaching with various techniques through cold reading, exercises, discussions and improvisations.
There are 3 levels of classes and they are typically set up in 4-5 week sessions (depending on the number of weeks in that month) running from January through May. Prior to the start of each session all students must let the studio know through email or in the comment section in PayPal the class dates they will not be attending. This is the only way you will be able to pay only for the classes you attend.

Teens/Intermediate Adults • Saturdays 11:00am - 1:00pm: $200
Adults & Working Actors • Saturdays 1:30pm - 4:00pm: $250

Important: When a class member joins a 6 week class, they pay for the full six weeks. If unable to attend a class, Kim Terry's office must be notified 24 hours ahead of the class meeting time. The Kim Terry Studio will prorate the price only if the student notifies the studio (by e-mail) of the class or classes the students will miss before that 6 week session begins.
